Women hid in fright

TWO women were forced to hide inside a Pakenham home out of fear of a violent intruder who allegedly broke in to the house over the weekend.
At 11am on Saturday 31 October, a man jumped the fence of a Damien Court house, smashing a window and sliding door to access the home.
Police said two women inside the home hid from the 22-year-old man, who is believed to have been looking for his own items.
Pakenham police Senior Sergeant Graeme Stanley said one of the women had an intervention order out on the man before the alleged aggravated burglary unfolded.
The women called police who attended the property, but did not find the man.
He was picked up by police early the next morning and held in custody to face the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Monday 2 November. He is also facing charges relating to petrol theft and outstanding warrant matters.
