A TRUCK driver who killed four family members in a crash at Catani has been found guilty of culpable driving causing death.
Jobandeep Gill, 28, of Noble Park, was pronounced guilty on four counts of the charge by a 12-member jury in the County Court on Thursday 5 November.
His truck had crashed into a sedan containing Poowong parents Jade and Stephen Beckett and their three children Sam, then 9, Ella, 6, and William, 2 at the corner of Heads and Caldermeade roads, about 9am on Friday 28 February 2014.
The Becketts were on their way to drop their children off to school at the time.
The eldest child Sam was the only survivor in the car.
Judge Geoffrey Chettle has adjourned the case for sentencing.
