WHILE she didn’t take out the win in her fashion category, this fruity finalist managed to score the most laughs during her hilarious appearance on the Fashion on the Field catwalk on Pakenham Gazette Oaks Day.
Mandy Goldvick from Avonsleigh was one of the first entrants to show off her fabulous frock as part of the Mature Lady of the Day competition at Pakenham Racing Club on Thursday 5 November.
But it wasn’t just her bold and bright cherry print outfit which saw her through to the finals.
Up on stage, the blonde beauty attracted the eyes of the crowd as she fluffed up her skirt and swanned about.
She even “accidentally” dropped her place card – retrieving it in a swift motion much like the famed “bend and snap” manoeuvre featured in the movie Legally Blonde.
Dropping the place card once more to the sound of cheering laughter from fashion spectators in the crowd, Ms Goldvick won over the hearts of the event’s fashion judges who voted her through to the finals round.
Sadly, the grade A larrikin did not win the overall title which was taken by Pakenham stunner Marlene Burhop.
