IT’S been a fruitful couple of weeks for long-serving Star News Group photographer Stewart Chambers.
Coming off the back of two recent awards from the Victorian Country Press Association, Stew got the royal treatment when he attended the Berwick Uniting Church last week to photograph the last luncheon of the Berwick CWA.
As well as a seat on the committee’s table and a free lunch, Stew was presented with a box of chocolates by Berwick CWA secretary Mary McGrath, who thanked him for his many years of covering CWA events.
He is one of many within the community grateful for the generosity of the CWA and sad to see the end of such an organisation.
