THE Pakenham Outdoor Pool was the place to be as the mercury soared over the weekend.
A Gazette photographer paid a visit to the pool to capture all the action and found locals taking full advantage of the coolest place in town.
The Pakenham Outdoor Pool is one of four open-air pools in the shire, with the others located at Emerald Lake Park, Garfield and Kooweerup.
The facilities are open to the public throughout December, January and February before closing for the season in March.
