AN AWKWARDLY placed sign had some Pakenham passers-by in a quandary over the weekend.
The sign, placed out the front of Le Pine Funerals in Main Street, Pakenham, indicates a significant saving for those who buy in the next four weeks.
Pakenham resident David Edwards was quick to point out the humour in the poorly placed sign which indicates someone on their way out could save up to 80 per cent if they plan their exit in the next four weeks.
“Spotted this advertising sign on Saturday. The sign is actually for a jeweller, but it looks like Le Pine’s have a special deal if you’re prepared to die in the next four weeks,” he wrote into the Gazette.
