Drug addicts blamed for Scout break-in

THE Harkaway Scouts had their first aid kit stolen by thieves who broke into the club rooms this month.
The rooms on Chadwick Road were burgled between Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 February.
Narre Warren Detective Senior Constable Mark Wiederhold said he suspects the offenders may be drug addicted.
“Because first aid kits include distilled water and bandages it could be a drug user and nothing else was stolen,” Sen Const Wiederhold said.
The thieves broke in through the garage door.
“They got through two dead locks,” he said.
