HOME break-ins to steal car keys have turned violent after a Berwick man was hospitalised and a family was threatened during a two-hour burglary spree.
It is suspected that the same group was responsible for nine aggravated burglaries and more than half a dozen car thefts in the city’s outer south-east during the early morning raids.
Police have warned residents to be on alert.
