A PET goat was killed on a Bayles property in a senseless animal cruelty incident under investigation by police.
The dead 10-year-old female goat was discovered with a single gunshot wound in the chest on Thursday 31 March, on the Backhouses Road property.
It is believed the goat was shot with a firearm in the 48 hours before the report was filed.
Kooweerup Sergeant Kevin Iles said police were yet to identify the shooter.
