Concussed in party attack

A TEENAGER was concussed and two others were injured in a violent attack carried out by a group of gatecrashers wreaking havoc at a Pakenham South house party over the weekend.
Police investigating the traumatic incident are also following up reports of gunfire from one of the offending cars.
At 1.30am on Sunday 8 May, a group of men crashed an 18th birthday party at McDonald’s Drain Road home in Pakenham South.
Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit (CIU) Detective Sergeant Phil Jury said two vehicles rocked up at the address.
Up to 10 males got out of the car and attacked three males, each struck to the head with an unknown weapon.
One of the victims, a 16-year-old boy, suffered concussion as a result of the shock attack.
He was transferred to hospital for treatment.
A 19-year-old male sustained lacerations above his eye and a 41-year-old male reported soreness to his head.
The assailants got back into their cars, fleeing the address soon after the attack.
Witnesses at the house party reported hearing gunfire from one of the cars.
Police are investigating the matter.
