A SELECT handful of A Grade guest chefs are set to shake things up in Pakenham’s newest trendy eatery, Lakeside Mill, over the next few months.
Internationally famed chef, Jake Kellie, who runs the Mill’s kitchen announced some of the nation’s highest acclaimed chefs will share his kitchen for a night of fine dining once a month until the tail end of the year.
First up will be the head chef Ben Turner, the head chef at Aria in Sydney.
He and Jake will cook up a storm on Thursday 23 June – fusing together some of their favourite flavours in what is anticipated to be a total taste sensation.
Jake had only good things to say about Ben – who helped him on his journey from apprentice cook to the sought-after chef he is today.
“He put Aria on the map. He also taught me when I was a young whipper-snapper,” Jake said.
Guest chefs are planned to entice tastebuds every month on a Thursday between June and November.
The line-up of renowned chefs has been announced, with a surprise in store for November.
