A MAN has died after his car struck a tree at Cowes on Saturday morning.
The vehicle was travelling along Rhyll Road, near Thompsons Avenue, when it left the road and hit the tree about 9.50am.
SES crews cut the man from the vehicle however he died a short time later at the scene.
The man, who was the sole occupant, is yet to be identified.
