POLICE have called on the public to assist in locating an Ashburton man who was believed to have been on his way to Pakenham last week when he went missing.
It is understood that Baron Hodgkins had planned to drive to his partner’s house in Pakenham on the evening of Thursday 16 June, however he failed to arrive.
The 46-year-old also did not appear at work the following day and his car – a gold 1986 Holden Commodore with the registration number NNQ 247 – is missing.
Police have released an image of Mr Hodgkins in the hope that someone may recognise him. His family were concerned and told police his disappearance was “out of character”.
Mr Hodgkins is described as being about 177cm tall, of medium build with a ginger-coloured beard, and having an earring in his left ear and tattoos covering both arms.
He was last seen wearing a dark blue or black jumper and blue tracksuit pants which had glue stains on the front of them.
Anyone with information has been urged to contact triple-zero immediately.
