Knight draws on heroes

Herald Sun cartoonist Mark Knight, centre, presents the original watercolour of the AFL 400-gamers to Cardinia Casey Biggest Ever Blokes Lunch chairman Garry Howe and vice-chairman Dan O'Loughlin.

GUESTS at the sold-out Cardinia Casey Biggest Ever Blokes Lunch can bid for a unique piece of sporting memorabilia, thanks to the generosity of Herald Sun cartoonist Mark Knight.
The Tonimbuk local donated a one-off caricature of the event’s special guests – AFL 400 Club members Kevin Bartlett, Michael Tuck, Dustin Fletcher and Brent Harvey.
The original watercolour will be auctioned at the prostate cancer fund-raiser at the Cardinia Cultural Centre on Friday 19 August.
Harvey, who broke Tuck’s AFL games record at the weekend, launched the 2016 Biggest Ever Blokes Lunch back in May and recorded a video to be played on the day. Bartlett, Tuck and Fletcher will be special guests and the full afternoon of entertainment will be compered by comedian Dave O’Neil.
This will be the third Biggest Ever Blokes Lunch for the area. The other two raised a combined $130,000 for prostate cancer awareness and research initiatives and organisers hope to hit the $100,000 mark this year.
Mr Knight said he was more than happy to help out such a good cause.
