ATTEMPTS to infiltrate security at a restricted zone at Pakenham police station were detected over the weekend.
Security fencing at the police precinct was found to have been compromised about 2pm on Sunday 14 August.
Offenders ripped through the Colorbond fencing as well as made attempts at a chain-link fence to try and gain access to the secured area.
It is shared by CFA and SES members.
The fencing was scheduled to be fixed on Monday 15 August.
