Car fires under investigation

This car was found burnt out in Pakenham and another burntout car was found in Officer during the week.

A FUEL container and surgical gloves were discovered close to a burnout car dumped in Pakenham.
Police are investigating the car fire as well as another which occurred days earlier in Officer.
At 11.40pm on Saturday 24 September, police were alerted to the dumped and destroyed car on McGregor Road, Pakenham.
The white 2007 Holden Commodore registration ESKAGO was completely destroyed as a result of the blaze.
Police at the scene reported a fuel can and surgical gloves were located outside the vehicle.
At the same time two nights earlier, a stolen car was found completely destroyed in Tivendale Road, Officer.
Police said the 2013 Toyota Camry had been stolen in Truganina.
Both car fires are under investigation.
