Man injured in shopping centre accident

The elderly pedestrian was assessed by paramedics and is thought to have sustained non-serious injuries.

PARAMEDICS were called to assess an elderly man after a traffic accident at the front of a Pakenham shopping centre.
Three police cars and an ambulance responded to the pedestrian collision after the incident was reported about 12.10pm on Wednesday 19 October.
The incident occurred at the John Street entrance to the car park at Pakenham Market Place Shopping Centre and the area was blocked off to motorists for some time after the incident.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics assessed that the man had sustained non-serious injuries.
