Armed robbery charges

A PAKENHAM man has been remanded to re-appear in court next year over two armed robberies.
The 18-year-old Pakenham man was arrested by police at a Springvale property on Tuesday 1 November in relation to armed robberies at a service station in Chelsea Heights and a fast food restaurant in Carrum Downs on 25 October.
He has been charged with two counts of armed robbery, theft of motor vehicle and possessing ammunition.
The man faced court on Wednesday and was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court in January 2017.
Police from the Southern Metro Regional Crime Team and Box Hill Embona Taskforce carried out the arrest.
