THE rose-filled Waterhouse family garden will once again open to the public later this month, this time for the benefit of Pakenham Inner Wheel Club’s Cord Blood Appeal.
More than 200 roses and fully bloomed perennials will delight all the senses at the open garden event held on Saturday 19 and Sunday 29 November.
Meryl and Keith Waterhouse planted their garden in 1995 with a mix of native and introduced plant species, adding to the sugar gum trees planted by Keith’s grandparents back in the 1930s.
The garden is located at 315 Pakenham Road, Pakenham. It will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November.
Entry is $5. Devonshire tea and light lunches will be served.
Funds raised will go to Pakenham Inner Wheel Club for their Cord Blood Appeal.
