PAKENHAM early learning centre Goodstart farewelled 2016 with a Christmas party last week.
Attracting families along with siblings and many grandparents, up to 400 people enjoyed a barbecue and African drumming entertainment.
Children were kept entertained with a jumping castle, animal farm, Sesame Street and Disney mascots, and Santa drove around in a Pakenham CFA fire truck.
Centre director Beth Mason said the event brought the community together.
“We always look forward to our end-of-year celebration as we recognise that families are central to everything we do at Goodstart,” she said.
“As we look forward to new yards and a centre upgrade in 2017, it was nice to have the function for the last time in the centre environment.”
