Santa is coming down your street

Santa Claus is coming to Kooweerup.

SANTA Claus is coming to town – with a little help from the Kooweerup fire brigade.
Kooweerup kids are reminded to listen out for the fire truck sirens and Christmas carols on Wednesday 14 December as the CFA holds its Santa Lolly Run.
The run will start at Tesoro Estate about 4pm and then head around the rest of the Kooweerup area. Boundary Drain Road may not be visited this year due to all the extra houses in the new estates with the firies advising residents to head to one of the estates if they wish to see Santa.
The CFA also advise that with so many people to visit, Santa may not have time to drive into courts – but Santa’s helpers will drive into the area and alert residents with a siren and loud speaker so kids who live in courts can come to the entrance of the area and meet the jolly man in red.
During his trip around Kooweerup Santa will be giving out lollies but he’d like a little something in return with the CFA using the visit to collect canned food to be given to 4C’s charity for distribution to the region’s needy families.
