The Country Women’s Association (CWA) Pakenham branch has stepped up to sponsor the Wally Wombat Trail at this year’s 2017 Parklea Pakenham Show.
The women will provide cookies for Wally Wombat’s show bags to be handed out to those who take part in the activity trail.
Show president Geoff Young said organisers were thrilled with the new support for the popular family attraction.
“We’re delighted with the response and generosity of the community,” he said.
This year the trail will feature a number of regular stands plus the added involvement of a couple of new local committees and businesses, providing extra products and vouchers to make the show bag loads of fun.
The CWA Pakenham branch has invited residents to meet them at their meetings held at 10am on the first Wednesday of each month at the RSL Hall, corner James and Snodgrass streets, Pakenham.
The group also runs a craft day on every third Wednesday of the month. For more information, contact Chris Johnson on 5941 1625.
The Parklea Pakenham Show will be held from 9am to 4.30pm on Saturday 18 March.
