When Helen Moses noticed an interesting cloud formation hanging above Pakenham last week, she knew she just needed to photograph it.
Ms Moses noticed the bizarre clouds from the backyard of her home in the Evergreen Retirement Village on McGregor Road on Tuesday 28 March.
ā€œIā€™m a mad photographer and when I saw these clouds in the sky I just had to take a photo of them,ā€ she said.
This type of cloud formation Ms Moses has photographed is called altocumulus and is characterized by globular masses or rolls in layers or patches.
They are a medium altitude cloud that from about 2450 to 6100 meters above the surface of the earth.
