One driver pushed his luck too far, with police catching him driving while suspended twice within one hour.
Emerald police intercepted an unregistered Holden Commodore sedan on the Princes Highway in Officer, shortly after 4am on Wednesday 3 May.
Police directed the male driver not to continue driving.
A short time later the same vehicle was intercepted by Pakenham police near the intersection of the Princes Highway and Cardinia Street in Berwick.
The 30-year-old man told police that he had no idea his licence was suspended, despite being pulled over by Emerald police earlier.
Following the second incident, the man’s car was impounded for a period of one month.
He is expected to be charged on summons in relation to both incidents as well as a number of traffic offences.
