The Bunyip Community Op Shop gave $46,950 back to local community groups at its 2016-2017 disbursements event last week.
Among the community groups to benefit were the Bunyip Football Club, Garfield Kindergarten and Sorella Calesthenics.
“The committee were delighted with the afternoon; it is pleasing for the volunteers to be able to support so many groups,” said Sue Beattie, who founded the Bunyip Community Shop in the year 2000.
“It’s fabulous to know all the hard work the volunteers do is appreciated and all recipients had worthwhile projects.”
