Cyclist killed

A cyclist has died after losing control of his bike and veering into the path of a four-wheel-drive in Yannathan on Sunday afternoon.
Police report the man in his fifties was part of a racing group travelling along Thwaites Road just before 1.30pm.
It is understood the cyclist lost control and was hit by a 4WD travelling in the opposite direction.
He died at the scene.
Police said the driver was assisting with their inquiries.
No-one else was injured in the collision.
