Unknown to them, a local resident is a millionaire after winning a first division prize of more than $2 million in the 3 June TattsLotto draw.
Three months on and there’s still no sign of the unregistered division one winner who purchased the winning TattsLotto ticket from Berwick Village Lotto.
Despite searching for several months for the unaware winner, Tatts is yet to hear the winning scream of delight from the mystery TattsLotto player.
The division one winning ticket was not registered to a Tatts Card, so Tatts has no way of contacting the winner with the dream come true news that they are $2,047,344 richer!
Tatts spokesperson Bronnie Spencer said she was eager to confirm the life-changing news with Berwick’s mystery multi-millionaire and urged all TattsLotto players to check their tickets.
“You could be walking around with $2 million in your back pocket with a ticket stuffed inside a wallet, or it could be floating around the bottom of your handbag,” Ms Spencer said.
“We’ve had winners discover tickets in all sorts of nooks and crannies, from the glovebox of the car to the back of a drawer. We’ve even had some winning tickets hiding in plain sight, like on the fridge or noticeboard at home.”
Berwick Village Lotto owner Damian Kannangara said he was eager to unite the winner with their multi-million dollar prize.
“We’ve been telling all of our customers to check their tickets, hoping they would find out that they were the mystery winner,” Mr Kannangara said.
“We hope the winner comes forward soon so they can start to enjoy their millions!”
Ms Spencer said there were $2 million reasons why customers of Berwick Village Lotto should be checking for old TattsLotto tickets during their spring cleaning this month.
“If you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket, contact Tatts immediately on 131 868 to begin the prize claim process,” she said.
“Players have six months to claim their prize from Tatts, so time is ticking with three months already gone! That’s why we are urging all TattsLotto players to check their tickets as soon as possible.”
The six winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3743 on Saturday 3 June 2017 were 21, 32, 35, 9, 30 and 27. The supplementary numbers were 20 and 31.
