Safe home for horse care

Briarwood Farm ensures a safe and secure environment, particularly for young stock.

Briarwood Farm is a family owned and operated boutique agistment property five minutes from the new Pakenham Racecourse.
Five foot Kentucky mesh fencing ensures a safe and secure environment, particularly for young stock.
Briarwood is owned by Gavin and Lisa McMaster.
“We have an unblemished record with no horse in our care ever having sustained a fence injury,” Gavin said.
“Premium quality feed is provided that includes vitamin and mineral supplements, as we understand the importance of correct feeding of broodmares and their progeny to ensure good growth and bone development of these future athletes.
“We offer broodmare agistment and all related services including mating advice, walking on to stallions, AI for warmbloods, foaling, weaning et cetera and also offer a foaling down service for mares that do not reside with us.”
Affordable horse retirement agistment is also offered where cherished horses can live out their final years in a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.
The horses are well fed and share a paddock with a mate.
Gavin and Lisa dedicate themselves to providing top class thoroughbred and warmblood care with attention to detail and a personal touch.
“The relationship with our clients is built on honesty and integrity,” Lisa said.
Brairwood Farm is at 640 Nine Mile Road, Cora Lynn.
