 Learn about retirement living
Expect laughs, great live music and some fun and games when 3AW personalities Pat Panetta and Mike Brady entertain guests at the open day for retirement community, Shanagolden Village.
Villa Maria Catholic Homes (VMCH) will host an open day to give people the chance take a look around this modern and friendly retirement community in the heart of Pakenham.
Those who are considering downsizing and want to learn more about what life is like living in a retirement community are encouraged to come along and meet staff, residents and ask them questions. Guests can also enjoy a complimentary BBQ and refreshments, along with games and prizes.

2018 Parklea Pakenham Show
The famous Pakenham Show is back with a bang. This year’s show is set to boast a range of free family events including a meet and greet with Dr Seuss’ Cat in the Hat and Shaun the Sheep, Barn Buddies Animal Farm, Black Snake Productions Exhibition, as well as agricultural sections such as sheep, goats and poultry and the pavilion and horticultural divisions.

Scots on the Swamp
The historic Harewood House is celebrating 150 years since construction with a Charity Open Day. Locals from all walks of life are encouraged to come along for a day of activities, including a vintage car display, Great War re-enactments, a flyover and firing of the cannon, Scottish dancing, pipe playing, and much more.
