No fire alarm at Gumbuya

It was business as usual at Gumbuya World, with no truth to the radio rumour that the tourist attraction was on fire.

Fire authorities are undertaking controlled burns outside Gumbuya World to reduce the risk of a future blaze near the popular theme park.
The five hectare fire slowed traffic from 11am Wednesday 4 April, with speed reductions being enforced along the Princes Highway between Nar Nar Goon and Tynong.
The fire caused a bit of stir on the airwaves, with one listener phoning in to 3AW suggesting Victoria’s newest tourist attraction was alight.
The CFA says the burns will be conducted until approximately 7pm.
