Police investigate Berwick sexual assault

Investigators have released an image of a male they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Police are investigating a sexual assault at a reserve in Berwick last month.
Investigators have been told a female was out walking near Wurundjeri Boulevard and Premier Drive about 7.15am on Tuesday 13 March.
She crossed Premier Drive and turned right into Middleton Grove.
The male starting walking beside her and tried to start a conversation before he sexually assaulted her.
The male was last seen crossing Wurundjeri Boulevard toward Bridgewater Boulevard.
He is described as approximately 16-17-years-old, 173cm tall and was wearing a blue shirt, grey shorts and carrying a dark-coloured backpack.
Investigators have released an image of a male they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
