Man dies after road crash

A man has died following a collision in Pakenham on Friday 2 November.

A motorcycle was travelling west bound on Princes Highway when a dark grey Mitsubishi Outlander travelling east performed a u-turn at Ahern Road and collided with the motorcycle about 6.50am.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 28-year-old Pakenham man, was airlifted with life threatening injuries but died in hospital.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives arrested the 22-year-old driver and she is currently in police custody.
