Longwarry-Nar Nar Goon Road is closed daily at the Bunyip River Bridge, for important repairs until Thursday 15 November.
Closures are set up on both sides of the bridge from 9am to 3pm, with limited access maintained for local traffic.
All other vehicles must take a 12km detour along Hope Street or Abeckett Road, the Princes Highway and Sand Road.
If you travel between Longwarry and Nar Nar Goon during the day, plan ahead and allow an extra 15 minutes.
