The Cardinia Shire Kids Night Out has been hailed a success, drawing families and crowds from across the region for a night of relaxed, country racing action.

Dedicated to children, the event on Thursday 17 January offered a range of attractions.

With a ‘Win a Bike’ competition, face painting, pony rides, wild action shows, a petting zoo, jumping castle and a range of activities, tots were treated to an exhilarating night out.

Diane Wilkes, writing to the Gazette, said the event was “phenomenal”.

“As always, it was an incredibly fun night,” she said.

“Such a great way to give the kids and the parents something to do.”

The night is held on an annual basis at the Pakenham Racing Club in Tynong.
