Ciara says thanks

Berwick Netball Club and Beaconsfield Netball Club are coming together to host the Ciara pays it forward event which aims to raise funds for the Charlie Teo Foundation.

Ciara Nelson was granted a second chance at life after an inoperable brain tumour was removed in March 2018. The high-risk surgery was performed by revered neurosurgeon, Dr Charlie Teo.

Today, Ciara is back playing netball and has started university this year. She’s teamed up with the netball clubs to give back to the work of Dr Teo.

A raffle has been organised with first prize winning $4000, second prize $750 and third prize $250. There are only 100 raffle tickets available, at a cost of $100 each.Former Aussie Diamond and Melbourne Vixen star Bianca Chatfield will draw the raffle at the Battle of the Creek on Saturday 11 May at Holm Park Reserve, Beaconsfield during the A-grade Beaconsfield vs Berwick game.
