Man struck on Main Street

A man was injured after colliding with a car in Pakenham on Thursday.

Paramedics and police were called to the Main Street and John Street roundabout, following reports of a vehicle striking a pedestrian at about 2pm.

The 83-year-old Pakenham man suffered a fractured bone and his injuries were described as non-life threatening.

He was treated by paramedics on scene before he was taken to the Dandenong Hospital.

The driver of the vehicle was a 40-year-old Pakenham man.

Police are still investigating the cause of the incident.
