With December shaping up to be an extremely busy time of the year, the Cardinia Civic Concert Band are gearing up for a full on festive season.
Performing across the Cardinia shire throughout the month, the group will take to the stage at five local Carols by Candlelight events as well as performing at the Melbourne Zoo and at a deeply personal luncheon for victims of the Bunyip Fires.
The benefit luncheon is a particularly important and bittersweet event for the group as many of the band members were directly affected by the fires.
With years of experience at local Carols by Candlelight, the community will be able to see the group perform at Lang Lang Carols on Wednesday 11 December, Emerald Carols on Friday 13 December, Pakenham Carols on Saturday 14 December, Maryknoll Carols on Friday 20 December before wrapping up at Beaconsfield Carols on Sunday 22 December.
