Police investigate head-on crash

Two people were airlifted to hospital following a head-on collision on Cardinia Road in Officer South.

Victoria Police spokesman Rohan Imms confirmed Cardinia Highway Patrol members were now investigating the collision which occurred on Monday 3 February, about 5.20pm.

Both people received non-life threatening injuries.

A teenager was flown to The Alfred hospital in a stable condition with upper body injuries and a woman in her 30s was also taken to The Alfred in a stable condition with minor injuries, an Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision remains ongoing.
