Approximately 600 of Melbourne’s “best old school cars” are set to descend on Pakenham for a fundraiser which aims to raise much needed funds for the CFA.

The fundraiser, run by Autobarn Pakenham and Melbourne Old School Cruisers, came about following the state’s horrendous bushfire season.

Autobarn’s Mark Dickinson said attendees could expect to see some of the best chrome bumper cars Melbourne has to offer.

“There will be classics, customs, muscle cars, hot rods and many more,” he said.

“Autobarn Pakenham recognises the effort and sacrifices our local CFA members make to ensure the safety of our local community, property animals and businesses.”

The fundraiser will run on Friday 21 February from 8pm to 11pm at Pakenham Lifestyle Centre on the Princes Highway.
