Repeat drug driver caught

A drug driver was nabbed by police in Pakenham on Tuesday 29 September.

A Ford Focus was intercepted by officers from Cardinia Highway Patrol on Princes Highway about 5.40pm.

The driver, a repeated offender, spoke with officers who revealed her licence was suspended due to drug driving.

The 43-year-old Pakenham woman underwent a further roadside drug test which showed she had illicit drugs in her system.

Her vehicle was immediately impounded for a period of 30 days and she will be required to attend the Magistrates’ court.
