Kaye Cameron has been named Cardinia Shire Council’s newest councillor.
The Victorian Electoral Commission confirmed Ms Cameron won Westernport Ward’s by-election, held after the passing of Cr Ray Brown.
Kaye Cameron was among two candidates standing for the by-election and will represent Westernport Ward on Cardinia Shire Council until the next general council election in October 2024.
The Election Manager, Amanda Golding, declared the result at 5 pm on Friday 30 July in the Council Chamber, Civic Centre, Siding Avenue, Officer.
