Animals; especially dogs.

What do you love about what you do?

Volunteering at the U3A Emerald makes me feel useful, and brings me into contact with people to talk with.

Who is the best person you’ve worked with?

Currently – Nat Noonan with the council is a treasure. She is warm and compassionate and her team members tell me she is also a gun; plus she juggles raising three young children with her husband whose work involves travel!

The birth of my only child.

What would your last meal be?

Fresh fish and a selection of vegetables all cooked with delicious sauces or seasonings by a top chef, followed by a small desert involving chocolate, liqueur and cake – both with expertly paired wines.

What was your favourite subject in school?

English, even though there were other subjects I was better at.

What event past or present would you like to witness?

It would be amazing to simply walk unseen down the streets of ancient Rome, Elizabethan London, Florence during the renaissance period, Paris and Moscow before WWI.

What are you currently listening to, watching or reading?

I check in daily with ABC iview for news and podcasts.

How would you describe your fashion sense?

I like quality natural fibres, unique designs and comfort… can’t always afford that though!

Every pet makes an impact on your life.

Where is your dream holiday destination?

I could never get enough of Italy.
