The 2023 Lang Lang Show ‘n’ Shine is fast approaching, with thousands of people expected to attend the annual event.

As with previous events, the day will feature an ever-growing Swap Meet where automotive parts and bric-a-brac will be on sale.

Set to be held on Sunday 12 February at the Lang Lang Reserve, on the corner of Westernport Rd and McDonalds Track, 200 stalls are anticipated.

In addition there will be several trade stands with diecast model cars.

The Show ‘n’ Shine element of the day will see hundreds of cars on display whilst a small number will participate in judging based on age, originality and modifications.

The President’s Award as well as People’s Choice are trophies highly regarded by the contestants.

Judging will be held for both cars and motorbikes.

Last year saw the oval at capacity with around 800 cars on display and this year should be similar.

Whilst the event has strong local support, show cars came from as far away as Colac last year.

The annual lawn mowing racing events are sure to create plenty of entertainment with thrills and spills on the cards.

Gates open at 7am for the public with swap meet vendors and show cars participants one hour earlier.

Several food stalls will be on hand selling a variety of products.

This event is run by the Kooweerup-Lang Lang Rotary with proceeds from the event going to Rotary projects.
