Tell us a fun fact about yourself!

I’m a Scozzie (Scottish Australian).

What do you love about your job?

The people I work with. It’s a wonderful culture of support and kindness.

What would your last meal be?

Grilled salmon with dukkah and lemon.

What is your most memorable moment?

Becoming a mum.

What event, past or present, would you like to witness?

I would have liked to have attended the Sydney Olympic Games and watch Cathy Freeman win her gold medal in the 400 metres.

Which three guests, dead or alive, would you invite to dinner?

Only three, that’s tricky! I would love my whole family to come to dinner but particularly would enjoy my parents who passed away in Scotland to visit us. Famous people would be Barack Obama, Julia Gillard and Sam Kerr.

What are you currently listening to, watching or reading?

Gratitudes by Slava Grigoryan; Hush Foundation works with musicians to create beautiful music to reduce stress in health care environments and this album was written during the height of the pandemic and dedicated to healthcare workers everywhere. I’m reading Kate Morton’s Homecoming.

If you had to compete on MasterChef, what dish would you cook?

Something with seafood and native Australian herbs.

What is your dream holiday destination?

I would love to visit Italy and Greece – beautiful scenery, amazing food, history and walking. I hope to go next year.

What were you like as a kid?

Pretty quiet, bit of a tomboy – I liked climbing trees, playing football and walking my dog. As the eldest kid I was protective of my siblings.

What was your first job?

My first proper job with a payslip was Saturday girl in a hairdressers, however, I picked potatoes and strawberries on the farms long before that.

What are the three most used apps on your phone?

Spotify, BorrowBox and Outlook.

Chicken or egg?
