Poultry

This year’s poultry section had a very good number of entries with a wide variety of breeds on display. The Champion Bird in Show was awarded to Kevin Collins of Churchill with an Australorp bantam pullet. He was also successful with Reserve Bird in Show – an Indian runner duck, Champion Heavy Breed – an Australorp pullet and Champion Hardfeather Bantam – an Indian game hen. Champion Junior Bird was awarded to Ryan Bezzini with a call duck and Reserve Junior to Kiana Frankland with a modern game hen. Champion and Reserve Light Breed were awarded to Alex Borradale with pit game hens. Reserve Waterfront went to Corey Frankland with a white call drake.
