Man trapped by machinery in Gembrook

A man in his 60s has been airlifted in a serious condition after being trapped in machinery in Gembrook on Tuesday 14 May.

Eleven vehicles responded to the scene, the huge emergency response has sparked a WorkSafe investigation.

Victoria Police confirmed that emergency services were called to reports that a man was injured on Orchard Road in Gembrook at about 1.45pm.

Gembrook and Nar Nar Goon CFA alongside FRV responded to the accident alongside SES and paramedic services.

Advanced Life Support and Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance paramedics, as well as an air ambulance attended the scene.

One man in his 60s was transported via air ambulance to the Alfred Hospital with a lower body injury, in a serious condition.

Police said that WorkSafe will investigate the incident and there are no further details at this stage.
