The rainy chill in anticipation of winter had subsided for a pristine day at the Bunyip Community Market on Sunday 26 May with over a 100 stalls providing the best of local produce.

The market started in 2016 and has only grown significantly to become a key part of the town at the Bunyip Recreation Reserve.

All the money goes back to the community, direct through local stalls or through grants from the market organising committee. Twenty-one different organisations have received $500 grants from the market so far this year.

The market continues to grow with a recently constructed barbecue shed and a new community garden for locals to picnic and kids to play.

The Bunyip Community Market is held on the last Sunday of the month.
