Cardinia’s Paige Powell has been crowned Mrs Australia International for 2024.
She has now begun gearing up to compete in the Mrs International pageant, which is scheduled to take place in Tennessee on 26 and 27 July.
Mrs Powell said she competed in her first pageant when she was 16.
“It was an incredible experience and I am so thrilled to revisit pageantry now as an adult with so much life experience under my belt,” she said.
“Modelling has taught me how to walk into a room with grace and poise.
“It has taught me to embrace womanhood and celebrate others.
“Pageants also encourage community service and commitment, which is something I am really passionate about.”
Mrs Powell said the Mrs International competition honoured married women, with half of the score based on an interview, 25 per cent on evening gown and the other 25 per cent on fitness.
“Beauty pageants have evolved to celebrate women’s accomplishments and inner beauty,” she said.
Mrs Powell said her platform focused on advocating for farmers and ranchers worldwide, emphasizing the significance of agriculture and promoting agricultural education for the future generations.
“I am filled with so much anticipation and excitement,” she said.
“The most rewarding aspect of this competition is connecting with remarkable women worldwide, each making a positive impact in their communities.
“I am thrilled to share my advocacy for educating future generations in agriculture skills and environmental protection, as I believe it is a crucial message to convey.”
