The Casey Demons are two from two in the VFLW competition after dismantling the perpetually-respected Darebin Falcons.

The Dees pushed their ascendance in the second term, after the opening stanza saw both outfits locked at 1.2 (8) apiece.

The home side rattled on five goals to one in the second term to push the margin out to 25-points at the main break.

The pressure was sustained after the long-interval, with Casey further adding to its lead, but more importantly, keeping the Falcons scoreless in the third term.

In warm conditions the final term appeared as a classic early-season slog, with both sides running out of legs.

The Dees managed to keep the Falcons scoreless again in the final term, but could only muster two minor scores themselves.

Tahlia Fellows was crucial in the first three terms, kicking truly on three occasions, while Rebecca Grant collected 26 disposals.

The Demons blooded the young, with both Zoe Mitchell (15 disposals) and Amy Laing (10 disposals and three tackles) showing plenty of promise on debut.

The Casey Demons are one of three sides that are 2-0 – alongside Essendon and Geelong – and have the win-less North Melbourne this Saturday.
