Some of the best darts of the season were thrown in round four of the South West Gippsland Darts League (SWGDL) which resulted in some huge changes to the competition ladder.
Just Social and Snipers have opened up a two-game buffer at the top of the ladder, with Just Social leap-frogging the Snipers into top spot after a 14-1 thumping of Middels.
Warriors were another big winner on the night, jumping from fifth to third after a clinical 10-5 dissection of the Mud Rats.
Gembrook opened its season’s account with a thrilling 8-7 victory over Rebels, with a 101-checkout from Nugget the individual highlight of the contest.
The Brookers move from last to sixth with the win.
And Snipers remain undefeated – but only just – after being pushed all the way by Paky One.
The Pakenham boys sit in fourth place on the ladder, but showed they will be no pushovers this season after narrowly being defeated 8-7.
Congratulations to Aaron (Snipers), Ant (Warriors) and Thom (Rebels) for throwing 180’s in round four, while Aaron, Thom, Noel (Paky One) and Terry (Just Social) threw an impressive six tons each on the night.
